The CMA CGM Group intends to create its own startup incubator in Marseilles as part of its digital strategy.

“With this project, CMA CGM wishes to play a leading role not only in the economic development of the territory but also in the development of startups,” said Rodolphe Saadé, CEO of CMA CGM Group, speaking at the Salon des Entrepreneurs trade fair in Marseilles. “The incubator complements the group’s digital ecosystem to accelerate its transformation and benefit from the best in the world, in the interests of our customers, the society and the territory.”

The project complements other CMA CGM initiatives such as its support for incubator Carburateur, the partnership with digital innovation ecosystem Aix Marseille French Tech, the partnership with innovation campus The Camp, and the partnership with Infosys to accelerate the company’s digital transformation.

The project also complements the initiatives implemented through the corporate ventures fund CMA CGM Ventures, according to CMA CGM.
