APL has launched its China Southeast Asia service, a new direct service that connects North and Central China with the Southeast Asian markets of Vietnam, Thailand and the Philippines.
According to APL the service is designed to facilitate the thriving trade between China and Southeast Asia.
Port rotation will be: Qingdao – Shanghai – Ho Chi Minh – Bangkok (PAT) – Laem Chabang – Manila – Qingdao.
Shipments on the CSE service from Ho Chi Minh and Bangkok to Manila will arrive in three and four days respectively. Transit time from Manila to Qingdao and Shanghai is expected to be four and six days respectively.
The first sailing of the CSE service will depart from Qingdao on February 12, 2018.
