Kuehne + Nagel has been awarded a three-year logistics and supply chain contract by Malaysia’s government-owned oil and gas organization Petroliam Nasional Berhad.

Under the agreement, Kuehne + Nagel will assume end-to-end integrated supply chain responsibilities for PETRONAS, including freight forwarding services, logistics management as well as off-site and on-site warehouse operations. Kuehne + Nagel will also utilize PETRONAS fuel, lubricant and petrochemical products when performing overland activities in Malaysia.

Kuehne + Nagel was selected for its global network, full suite of logistics services and Logistics Control Centres in four strategic hubs.

Malaysia is the world's third-largest exporter of liquefied natural gas and the second-largest oil and natural gas producer in Southeast Asia.
