Turkish Cargo has approved the use of CSafe Global’s RAP temperature-controlled container.
The carrier will now be able to offer the container to its customers with pharmaceutical shipments.
“The CSafe RAP will give Turkish Cargo the ability to continue to provide best-in-class services to our customers around the world, meeting their expectations in terms of volume, cargo integrity and safety, and on-time transportation,” said Fatih Cigal, senior vice president of cargo marketing at Turkish Airlines. “Partnership with CSafe Global, the company that shares the same customer-centric values and business attitudes as we do, provides Turkish Cargo with confidence in the preservation and integrity of our shipments, every single time.”
The new RAP container uses CSafe’s ThermoCor VIP insulation together with a compressor-driven cooling and radiant heating system to maintain a user-defined temperature range, regardless of ambient conditions.
“Turkish Cargo have long been experts when it comes to transporting temperature-sensitive healthcare products globally,” said Brad Jennings, VP of global marketing and partner management at CSafe Global. “CEIV accreditation further demonstrates their commitment to providing our mutual life-science customers with precision cold-chain services that have been validated to exceptionally high standards.”
Turkish Cargo offers maindeck and belly capacity to more than 300 destinations in 122 countries.
