Kuehne + Nagel will establish an integrated European region from January 1, 2019 in order to further increase the growth momentum.
According to the company, Hansjörg Rodi, who has been responsible for the Central and Eastern European region and managing director of Germany since October 2016, will lead the consolidated management for all European countries.
“The formation of a European region is an important step in the development of the whole Kuehne + Nagel group, enabling us to manage our business even more efficiently and customer-oriented,” said Detlef Trefzger, CEO of Kuehne + Nagel International AG. “Furthermore, we are pleased that Kuehne + Nagel Germany will have its future head office in Bremen, where Kuehne + Nagel was founded in 1890.”
Holger Ketz, currently head of air freight in the Central and Eastern European region, will be responsible for running the German organization in Bremen from January 1, 2019, according to Kuehne + Nagel.
