Bolloré Logistics has recently announced the appointment of Julie Pirola as Food & Reefer Product Manager for China.

In a statement, the transport and logistics company said the appointment is part of its strategy to grow the Food and Reefer vertical in China.

Pirola will be based in Shanghai and will report directly to Jean-Philippe RETIF, Commercial Director of Bolloré Logistics Greater China.

"Our ambition is to convert this vertical including the food processing cluster, into an additional driver of Bolloré Logistics’ growth in China," said Jean-Philippe RETIF, Commercial Director of Bolloré Logistics Greater China.

 Bolloré noted that Picola possesses 10 years of experience within the Food and Reefer logistics industry. She has also developed strong expertise in building successful solutions for cold chain management and international freight forwarding, connecting major food and reefer parties which include overseas producers, local importers, distributors and customs brokers.

By working with our overseas network of experts and tapping on existing capabilities, as well as gearing up our team to respond to local service practices, we are in a good position to seize current market opportunities.
