The International Air Cargo Association has appointed Frank Newman as a new member of its board of directors.

Newman is managing director of FedEx Services and manages sales activities for the airline and aerospace segment.

“TIACA has a vital role to play in bringing together all sectors of the air-cargo supply chain and giving them a voice,” said Newman. “I am looking forward to using this role to help ensure industry keeps abreast of changing demands as well as providing innovative solutions to colleagues around the globe.”

Newman succeeds Sarah Prosser, managing director of legal counsel at FedEx, who steps down after six years on the board.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank Sarah for her time on the board and for the valuable work she has done on behalf of members,” said Doug Brittin, secretary general of TIACA. “We are very pleased to welcome Frank, who brings a great deal of expertise in aviation from the perspective of any integrator.”
