Kerry Logistics Network Limited (Kerry) has appointed Keith Sinclair, an industry veteran, as UK Industrial Projects Director to increase the company's share in the growing UK energy project market.
In the announcement, Kerry noted that Sinclair — who will be based in Aberdeen — would help strengthen Kerry's team of project cargo experts and ensure it is ready to support customers regionally and globally.
"Kerry prides itself on expanding its operations strategically to ensure it is in full readiness to support future demand in growing markets," said Dave Gaughan, managing director of Kerry UK.
"Keith brings a wealth of industry experience to our team, and with his extensive industry connections in the oil and gas sector, I am confident that he will drive our presence in the developing North Sea energy and renewables market," he added.
Sinclair has over 18 years of experience in the global logistics and forwarding sector, specialising in energy and industrial projects.
"Aberdeen is a key hub in the energy sector, and my new role ensures that clients receive a local service that leverages Kerry’s strong network comprising 500 project specialists around the globe," Sinclair said.
"Our network supports customers from end to end of their supply chains, and I look forward to bringing this service to more customers across Asia, Oceania, the United Arab Emirates, North America, and Europe," he added.
Kerry said the move strengthens the forwarder's existing regional teams, which operate from eight offices across the UK, strategically positioned to assist clients with local expertise and market insights.
