Peter Levesque, chief operating officer of Modern Terminals, has been appointed managing director starting from 2017.

According to Modern, Levesque will succeed Sean Kelly, who has been with the company for the past 17 years and will be stepping down at the end of 2016.

Kelly and Levesque have started a six-month transition period from July 1, 2016, in line with the company’s executive succession plan.

Levesque, who joined Modern in February 2010, was previously chief commercial officer. He has also held executive roles at DHL, CEVA Logistics and American President Lines, according to Modern.
