Cargolux has appointed Claude Zehren as interim executive vice president and nominated person for flight operations, with immediate effect.
Zehren replaces Jason Holt, who has decided to move on to a new opportunity.
According to Cargolux, Zehren has been with the airline for 18 years and has experience as both a pilot and a member of the management structure.
“It is my pleasure to welcome Claude Zehren in his new position and as part of the new ExCom team,” said Richard Forson, incoming CEO. “Having worked with him closely throughout the last couple of years, I am convinced that he will be an excellent addition to the Cargolux leadership team.”
Holt, who previously worked at easyJet, joined Cargolux in October 2015.
“Jason has made a major contribution to the airline by bringing his experience and talent to bear on the airline, including playing a major role in achieving the CWA agreement with our unions in December 2015,” said Forson. “On behalf of my ExCom colleagues, I thank him for all the hard work, dedication and initiatives he has given us and wish him all the best for his future. We will miss him.”
