Kerry Logistics Network Limited has expanded its European operations with the acquisition of Multi Logistics GmbH, a German company specializing in the film and media industry.

According to Kerry, the deal will add four offices in Germany and bring the total in the country to seven, including Berlin, Bremen, Frankfurt, Hamburg and Munich.

“We have had offices for integrated logistics and international freight forwarding in the country for many years, offering customers total supply chain solutions from origin to destination,” said Thomas Blank, managing director of Europe at Kerry Logistics. “The expansion is in line with our strategy to accelerate the business development of the European market, and we are pleased to be able to provide our clients with enhanced network coverage, additional service offerings across Europe, and a further optimized local customer service in Germany.”

Multi Logistics offers services such as door-to-door transport, personal support for film productions, security transport, storage of film copies and handling of rental equipment, according to Kerry.
