CargoLogicAir has appointed David Bowden [left] as its new chief financial officer and John Nicholas [right] as its technical director.

According to CLA, both are based at the carrier’s headquarters at London Stansted Airport.

Bowden was previously CFO at Fiji Airways Group and was acting CEO from June to October 2015. Before joining Fiji Airways in 2014, he was CFO and deputy CEO of bmi for two years. He has also worked at AstraZeneca, First Choice Airways, Logica UK, Maginus Software Solutions and Ernst & Young.

Nicholas is a qualified aircraft engineer and will be in charge of all technical matters relating to the Boeing 747F fleet and air safety programme.

He was previously head of technical services at the UK’s Civil Aviation Authority. He has also worked as fleet technical design engineer at British Airways, technical services engineer at Caledonian Airways and aeronautical airframe/engine technician at British Airways, according to CLA.
