Emirates SkyCargo has expanded its range of solutions for the pharmaceutical industry by signing agreements with SkyCell and va-Q-tec.

According to SkyCargo, customers can now choose to have their temperature-sensitive shipments transported in one of SkyCell’s containers, which can maintain temperature ranges of 2°C-8°C and 15°C-25°C, or one of va-Q-tec’s va-Q-tainers, which come in five sizes and can maintain six different temperature ranges from -70°C to +25°C.

SkyCargo also has an agreement with Envirotainer, as well as its own in-house products including the SkyPharma Cool Dolly and the White Container.

Emirates SkyCargo launched SkyPharma, its solution for temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical shipments, and a dedicated facility at Dubai International Airport in 2016.
