APL has added the ports of Durres and Thessaloniki to its Mediterranean Express 1 service and the ports of Novorossiysk and Poti to its Mediterranean Express 2 service.

The new MX1 service has a port rotation of: Qingdao – Busan – Yangshan – Ningbo – Xiamen – Nansha – Yantian – Singapore – Malta, where cargo can be transhipped to Durres and Thessaloniki.

The new MX2 service has a port rotation off: Qingdao – Yangshan – Ningbo – Kaohsiung – Hong Kong – Yantian – Singapore – Piraeus, where cargo can be transhipped to Novorossiysk and Poti.

The extended network offers shippers the opportunity to enter the Albanian, Greek, Russian and Georgian markets, according to APL.
