AirBridgeCargo Airlines added Liege to its network.

According to the airline, it will gradually increase the frequency up to 12 flights per week starting from the winter schedule. The flights will be operated with a Boeing 747 freighter, which has a capacity of up to 130 tonnes.

“We have a long history of cooperation with Liege airport via Atran Airlines (part of Volga-Dnepr Group) and now are targeting to bring our partnership to a new level,” said Sergey Lazarev, general director of AirBridgeCargo Airlines. “With significant improvement of our inland options and building of mutually beneficial collaboration with our trucking partners, we are optimistic about ABC’s future in Liege and the benefits it will bring to our customers.”

ABC was attracted to the airport’s cargo-friendly operations, offering speed, flexibility, ground and airport infrastructure on a price-wise basis. Its location in between Paris, Amsterdam and Frankfurt also makes it ideal for accumulating general cargo as well as special shipments.
