The CMA CGM Group will upgrade its PAD service to become a weekly operation starting from January 4th, 2018.
According to CMA CGM, the service is operated in 91 days with a port rotation of: Zeebrugge – London Gateway – Rotterdam – Dunkerque – Le Havre – New York – savannah – Miami – Cartagena – Papeete – Noumea – Brisbane – Sydney – Melbourne – Nelson – Napier – Tauranga – Manzanillo – Savannah – Philadelphia – Zeebrugge.
The weekly service will be operated by 13 ships with a nominal capacity of between 2,200 and 2,500 TEUs. Each will carry approximately 600 reefers on board to transport refrigerated goods such as fruits, meat or dairy products.
The upgrade is part of the CMA CGM Group’s development strategy in Oceania and the Pacific, after the completion of the acquisition of SOFRANA Unilines, through its subsidiary ANL, on October 31st, 2017.
