APL has added the ports of Xiamen and Batangas to its China Philippines Express 1 service.

The CP1 service commenced sailing from Xiamen on April 15, 2018 with the following new port rotation: Xiamen – Hong Kong – Nansha – Shekou – North Manila – South Manila – Batangas – Xiamen.

The two additional calls extend the market coverage of the weekly shortsea service linking South China and the Philippines.

The enhanced CP1 service will facilitate shipments into and out of the economically thriving Calabarzon region in the Philippines. Shippers can also take advantage of further market connectivity at the transhipment hubs of Hong Kong and Shekou, according to APL.
