Jettainer has begun managing reefer containers for American Airlines Cargo.

According to Jettainer, the airline now has access to the 24/7 service of its Cool Center of Excellence in Abu Dhabi, specifically responsible for managing temperature-controlled ULDs.

“Cool Management is the newest of our services and complements our product range by an attractive field which is increasingly demanded within the market,” said Martin Kraemer, head of marketing and PR at Jettainer. “With our flexibly combinable product modules, we also meet the demands of many customers for individual solutions.”

Jettainer’s Cool Management service includes the leasing, management and positioning  of temperature-controlled containers, as well as process-related monitoring.

“For many years, Jettainer has been a valuable partner in the management of our regular ULDs,” said Tom Grubb, global head of pharmaceuticals and healthcare at AA Cargo. “Now, with the addition of active temperature-controlled containers, we have comprehensive, end-to-end tracking and management of all ULD types used for our customers’ valuable cargo.”

Jettainer helps minimize risk and reduces costs that can arise due to positioning or overcapacity.
