Royal Air Maroc has become the latest airline to join Cargo iQ, an International Air Transport Association interest group aiming to develop and implement quality standards for air cargo.

RAM is headquarted at Casablanca-Anfa Airport in Morocco. The airline has a network of more than 90 destinations and a fleet of 58 aircraft, including one converted Boeing 767-300ER freighter.

“Becoming a Cargo iQ member aligns with the values of Royal Air Maroc and our mission to offer a high-quality service to our customers,” said Salim Quouninich [second from right in photo], director of cargo at Royal Air Maroc, speaking at IATA’s World Cargo Symposium in Singapore. “Membership will allow us to utilize the milestones established by Cargo iQ, as well as access member-generated data to ensure our processes and reporting are at the highest possible industry standard.”

Cargo iQ has more than 80 members, including airlines, forwarders, ground handlers and IT companies.

Cargo iQ recently added MAB Kargo and ANA Cargo as members.
