CEVA LAUNCHES NORTH ASIA CLUSTER
April 2, 2019

CEVA Logistics has strengthened its presence in Asia with the creation of a North Asia cluster, covering Greater China, Japan and South Korea.

According to CEVA, the new North Asia cluster will be one of its largest operations worldwide, both geographically and in terms of population.

The new structure will strengthen CEVA’s business by having two of the top three economies of the world run through one single contact window. CEVA’s customers will also benefit from optimized operations processes.

“Our organizations in Greater China, Japan and South Korea are well-functioning and highly proficient,” said Torben Bengtsson, executive vice president of the CEVA North Asia cluster. “Our dedicated staff work professionally, providing value to our customers, shareholders and the society as a whole. I’m convinced that the restructuring will bring about more internal and external opportunities and reinforce our profitability. We will continue to work closely together to foster a culture of communication, trust and mutual understanding in order to deliver the best solutions to our customers in all three countries.”

Additional trucking services and new multimodal services from Japan and South Korea via China to Europe will be introduced and implemented by the cluster this year.

The new cluster will also enable further development and optimization of business processes which will keep the organization agile and competitive while delivering high-quality services to customers, according to CEVA.
