Slovakia-based ground handler,CHS Trade has digitalized its cargo processes at Bratislava Airport with Hermes Logistics Technologies (HLT).
In a statement, HTL said CHS is using Hermes 5 (H5) Cloud Cargo Management System (CMS) to digitize its Air Waybills and digitalize planning and data sharing processes with partners.
“We switched to Hermes 5 because the system can handle both context-based data and event reporting, and the Hermes team are very open-minded and flexible to the customization needs we have as a small operation," said Ctirad Emody, chief executive officer of CHS Trade.
H5 is offered as Software as a Service (SaaS), and is hosted via Amazon Web Services (AWS), and accessed online through a virtual private network (VPN), which removes the need for on-site infrastructure expenditure.
The implementation was completed in under six months due to the flexibility of the Hermes team who worked weekends to fit CHS Trade staff schedules.
HTL said the features of H5 is fully configurable to fit the needs of small, medium, and large enterprises.
The system has also been adopted by Hanoi Airport, UAE-based logistics services provider, RSA National and LuxairCARGO.
