deugro is further boosting its sustainability efforts in Germany with the appointment of a head of wind renewable energy in the country.
The freight forwarder announced that it appointed Stefanie Schöttle-Christiansen as Head of Wind Renewable Energy Germany, deugro, effective July 1, 2023.
"The addition further underlines the company's commitment to sustainability, especially the wind energy efforts in Germany," deugro said.
It added that in her new role, Schöttle-Christiansen will ensure deugro continues to meet the growing demands of the wind energy sector.
Schöttle-Christiansen joins deugro with more than 23 years of experience in logistics, over 10 years of these in the renewable energy sector.
In her previous position as Team Lead Logistics Project Management for Northern Europe and Middle East for Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, deugro noted that she successfully managed numerous wind energy projects.
"I am thrilled to join deugro and lead the Wind Renewable Energy division in Germany. The wind energy sector is rapidly growing, and I am eager to contribute to deugro's success by delivering exceptional service to our clients.
