The CMA CGM Group has improved its Indian network with the launch of two weekly services.
According to CMA CGM, the new EPIC 1 service, operated in partnership with Mediterranean Shipping Company and United Arab Shipping Company, will offer a direct connection between North Europe and Pakistan and Northwest India.
The port rotation will be: Mundra – King Abdullah – Gioia Tauro – Tangier – Southampton – Rotterdam – Antwerp – Felixstowe – Dunkirk – Le Havre – King Abdullah – Djibouti – Port Qasim – Nhava Sheva – Hazira – Mundra.
The first voyage will be operated by the CMA CGM Traviata, which will arrive at Port Qasim on July 26, 2016.
The EPIC 2 service, operated in partnership with Hapag-Lloyd and Hamburg Süd, will connect North Europe with the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan and Northwest India.
The port rotation will be: Mundra – Jeddah – Cagliari – Tangier – Hamburg – Antwerp – London Gateway – Tangier – Cagliari – Jeddah – Khor Fakkan – Jebel Ali – Port Qasim – Nhava Sheva – Mundra.
The service will begin on July 24, 2016 at Khor Fakkan.
The reorganization offers an improvement in port coverage and a reduction of transit times from India, according to CMA CGM.
