HAPAG-LLOYD IMPROVES ASE SERVICES

Hapag-Lloyd has upgraded its Asia-South America East Coast service by adding calls to each of the two loops.

 

For Loop 1, a call at Sepetiba will be added to the westbound leg and a Navegantes call will be added to the eastbound leg. A call at Hong Kong will be added to the eastbound leg of Loop 2.

 

The new port rotations are as follows.

 

Loop 1: Shanghai – Ningbo – Yantian – Hong Kong – Singapore – Sepetiba – Santos – Paranagua – Navegantes – Montevideo – Buenos Aires – Rio Grande – Navegantes – Paranagua – Santos – Singapore – Hong Kong – Shanghai.

 

The first voyage will be operated by MV COSCO Shipping Volga, scheduled to depart from Shanghai on January 22, 2017 and from March 2, 2017.

 

Loop 2: Busan – Qingdao – Shanghai – Ningbo – Chiwan – Singapore – Port Kelang – Sepetiba – Santos – Paranagua – Buenos Aires – Montevideo – Rio Grande – Navegantes – Itapoa – Santos – Sepetiba – Port Kelang – Singapore – Hong Kong – Busan.

 

The first voyage will be operated by MV Cap San Juan, departing from Busan on January 13, 2017 and from Buenos Aires on February 27, 2017.

 

Loop 1 is operated under a slot-swap agreement with COSCO, while Loop 2 is operated under a vessel-sharing agreement with Hamburg Süd, HMM, NYK and ZIM, according to Hapag-Lloyd.
