According to time:matters, the courier terminal ensures that time-critical shipments such as important spare parts, medical samples or highly sensitive documents are delivered, picked up or transferred extremely quickly and securely by plane. Direct access means that imports and exports only take an hour to handle. Direct transfer from plane to plane on the apron also helps minimize transit times. Shipments are always physically guarded by security personnel on the apron and irregularities are communicated in real time so that corrective action can be taken.

“We are so pleased that our courier terminal has been operating so well for 10 years now and only continues to grow,” said Christian Mörtl, COO of time:matters. “Because the satisfaction of our customers is our highest priority, it’s important for us to provide them with a service that makes sending their shipments much quicker, more secure and more flexible.”

Approximately 3,500 shipments with a cargo volume of 1,100 tonnes are handled every month through the time:matters courier terminal. The company has posted double-digit growth rates for both tonnage and number of shipments since 2013.

time:matters took over the courier terminal from Fraport Cargo Services in August 2007 with some 15 employees and has since grown to 40 employees.
