The new China Gulf Express operated by Gold Star Line Ltd., Korea Marine Transport Co. Ltd., Regional Container Lines, SM Line Corporation and T.S. Lines Ltd. has arrived at DaChan Bay Terminals with the maiden call of the 6,350 TEU Hamburg Bay.
The new GCX service is operated with a deployment of six vessels with an average carrying capacity of 5,000-6,500 TEUs.
It calls at DaChan Bay every Sunday and has a port rotation of: DaChan Bay – Port Kelang – Colombo – Karachi – Jebel Ali – Colombo – Port Kelang – Singapore – Xingang – Qingdao – Shanghai – Ningbo – Shekou – DaChan Bay.
The GCX service is the second new service covering the Asian and Middle East markets DaChan Bay Terminals has added to its network in the past two months, after the GLX service operated by Emirates Shipping Line and Regional Container Lines made its maiden call in October 2017.
