APL has launched its Quetzal Express service, a new weekly connection between China, Mexico and the West Coast of South America.
The QEX service offers a transit time of 22 days from South China to Mexico. It is also the only service that offers a direct connection from Taiwan and Central and South China to Puerto Quetzal and Guayaquil.
The service has a port rotation of: Kaohsiung – Shekou – Hong Kong – Ningbo – Shanghai – Manzanillo, Mexico – Lazaro Cardenas – Puerto Quetzal – Buenaventura – Guayaquil – Callao – Manzanillo, Mexico – Busan – Kaohsiung.
The first sailing will depart from Kaohsiung on April 6, 2018.
APL’s Asia-Latin America network now consists of the Condor Express, Falcon Express and Caracara Express and Asia Caribbean Express services.
