Ocean Network Express Thailand has attained its 1-million-TEU milestone, nine months since the start of the business.

“This realization is a testament of the strong collaboration and support between our esteemed customers, business partners and ONE Thailand,” said Kiyoshi Tokonami, managing director of ONE Thailand. “In addition to the memorial milestone, with newly built container vessel ONE Columba whose loading capacity of 14,000 TEUs is the largest ever to call Thailand in late 2018, we successfully demonstrated ONE’s commitment to the Thai government’s policies for economic growth, especially for the national project Eastern Economic Corridor. Whilst maintaining our intra-Asia presence, we are continuously expanding our service networks to further improve trade connectivity for the world.”

According to ONE, ACME 1975 Co., Ltd. was shipper which helped it pass the milestone.

ONE Thailand commenced business operations in April 2018.
