CMA CGM will upgrade its FAL 1 service by adding a call at Shanghai to the eastbound voyage.

The first voyage with the additional call will be 049FLE operated by the CMA CGM Kerguelen, which departs Southampton on January 11, 2016.

Shanghai will now be called at on both the eastbound and westbound journeys, with a transit time of 36 days between Hamburg and Shanghai, and 32 days between Le Havre and Shanghai, according to CMA CGM.

The new rotation is: Southampton – Dunkirk – Hamburg – Rotterdam – Zeebrugge – Le Havre – Malta – Khor Fakkan – Shanghai [new] – Tianjin – Dalian – Busan – Qingdao – Shanghai – Ningbo – Yantian – Port Kelang – Algeciras – Southampton.
