CargoSmart, provider of shipping software solutions, has expanded its Big Schedules search engine by launching a set of premium features that will be available on a subscription basis.

Since December 2015, 130 shippers and logistics service providers have been beta-testing the new features, which offer enhanced visualization and personalization such as event monitoring alerts, schedule comparisons and analysis, a personalized vessel watch list and arrival delay alerts.

“Shippers are seeking greater control over planning and require better reporting and analytics tools,” said Lionel Louie, chief commercial officer of CargoSmart. “The Big Schedules premium features let importers and exporters leverage CargoSmart’s data and analytics to improve their shipment planning and discover potential delays earlier to save costs.”

According to CargoSmart, the Big Schedules search engine combines the sailing schedules of ocean carriers with live location data to enable vessel tracking and closer monitoring of performance and schedule delays.
