CMA CGM ANNOUNCED SURCHARGE ON CHINA TO NIGERIA TRADE

CMA CGM announced that it is implementing a surcharge on its China-Nigeria service starting April 19.

 

"CMA CGM wishes to inform its customers of the Overweight Surcharge (OWS) update concerning dry cargo from China ports to Apapa, Nigeria as effective April 19th, 2022 (loading date)," the global container line said.

 

This will cover dry cargo from China ports to Apapa, Nigeria.

 

CMA CGM said the surcharge will be US$500 per 20' dry container with a container gross weight equal to or over 18 tonnes.
