APM GOES PAPERLESS IN MUMBAI

APM Terminals Mumbai has become the first container terminal in India to do away with paper documents by using an electronic version of Export Form 13 for containers being trucked to the terminal.

The company has also launched an online delivery process to speed up the import cycle and reduce congestion.

“By going live with the import delivery cycle, APM Terminals Mumbai has once again become a pioneer in providing transparency in the supply chain and ease of doing business,” said Ravi Gaitonde, COO of APM Terminals Mumbai.

Container freight stations that have registered will be able to receive real-time updates on the status of import deliveries via a web-based application, according to APM.
