China Merchants Port Holdings Company Limited has announced several top management changes, including naming Xu Song as the chief executive officer of the company.

Song was previously the managing director of China Merchants Port and held several senior positions within the company.

China Merchants Port also appointed Feng Boming as the chairman of the board and a non-executive director of the company, along with Wong Chi Wing as an independent non-executive director.

Meanwhile, the company also named Lu Yongxin as the managing director of the company, replacing Song.

Prior to his appointment as chief executive of the company, Xu Song also served as a non-executive director of Liaoning Port Co., Ltd. (formerly known as Dalian Port (PDA) Company Limited) and a director of various subsidiaries of the company.

China Merchants Port said all the management appointments will be effective from July 24, 2023.
