FRANKFURT AIRPORT RECORDS ANOTHER DIP IN CARGO VOLUMES FOR OCTOBER

Frankfurt Airport (FRA) recorded a slight decline in air cargo volumes for October, reporting figures that are also below both last year's and 2019's performance.

Europe's busiest cargo airport said air cargo throughput — comprising airfreight and airmail — in Frankfurt hit 173,173 metric tons last month, or 2% lower than the same period in 2022.

October's cargo volumes are also down 3.4% compared to 2019's same-month performance.
