“This is a great solution for customers looking for an alternative which is both faster than LCL ocean shipments and cheaper than regular air freight shipments,” said Yves Laforgue, director for Southeast Asia at Bolloré Logistics.

Bolloré’s trucks are equipped with GPS-tracking systems and are under 24/7 supervision. Several additional security features are also installed, including an e-lock security system inside the container door, an immobilizer, a panic button, an alarm and the ability to automatically capture and upload pictures once the container doors are opened.

Customers will also be able to clear their cargo at Bolloré’s bonded freight stations in Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia to avoid delays at the border.

The trucking service will particularly benefit the retail, aerospace and healthcare sectors, according to Bolloré.
