DHL EXPRESS APPOINTS NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR FOR HONG KONG AND MACAU

DHL Express has announced the appointment of Andy Chiang as the managing director for DHL Express Hong Kong and Macau, as well as a member of the DHL Express Asia Pacific management board.

 

In a statement, DHL said Chiang will relinquish his position as Head of Global Strategic Finance and will succeed Ng Chee Choong, who will assume the role of managing director for DHL Express Taiwan.

 

DHL cited Chiang's strong finance background and 30 years of experience in various country and regional roles at DHL Express.

 

He will report to Ken Lee, CEO, Asia Pacific, DHL Express, and will continue to be based in Hong Kong.

 

In the announcement, DHL cited Chiang's experience in the Greater China region, with his responsibilities of managing Network Fee with China joint venture partner Sinotrans Group since 2005, as well as representing DH's interests in the China Joint Venture Board of Directors since 2012.

Meanwhile, Chiang noted Hong Kong's position as Asia's financial hub and his role in pushing forward DHL Express' growth and sustaining its continuous success in the region.
