APL will enhance its Bosphorus Express service by adding calls at Beirut and Iskenderun.

“APL is expanding our presence in the Asia Mediterranean/Europe trade lane where we currently offer seven services that connect Asia to the Mediterranean and Europe,” said Calvin Leong, chief trade officer of APL. “With the new new port additions to the BEX, we will markedly improve coverage of the Eastern Mediterranean to meet our customers’ growing needs.”

The new port rotation will be: Kwangyang – Busan – Yangshan – Ningbo – Chiwan – Port Klang – Port Said West – Beirut – Iskenderun – Izmir – Istanbul – Constanta – Odessa.

The first sailing is scheduled to depart Kwangyang on July 27, 2016, according to APL.
