CMA CGM TO UPGRADE INDIA MIDDLE EAST-EAST AFRICA NETWORK

CMA CGM will upgrade its two weekly services connecting India and the Middle East with East Africa starting.

 

The new Noura service will begin on February 20, 2017 and will be operated with five 2,220 TEU vessels.

 

The port rotation will be: Khor Fakkan – Jebel Ali – Mogadishu – Longoni – Zanaibar – Port Victoria – Khor Fakkan.

 

Transit time to Mogadishu will be seven days from Jebel Ali and 17 days from Mundra.

 

The Swahili Express service, which will be dedicated to Kenya and Tanzania, will be operated with four vessels. The first sailing will be on February 24, 2017.

 

The port rotation will be: Nhava Sheva – Mundra – Jebel Ali – Khor Fakkan – Mombasa – Dar Es Salaam – Nhava Sheva.

 

Transit time from Mundra will be 12 days to Mombasa and 14 days to Dar Es Salaam, according to CMA CGM.
