ZIM COMPLETES RESTRUCTURED NETWORK

ZIM will launch a service connecting Asia, the Pacific Northwest and the Eastern Mediterranean/Black Sea in April 2017 as part of its restructured network.

 

According to ZIM, the new ZIM Med Pacific service will be operated by 15 4,500 TEU vessels and will have the following port rotation: Port Kelang – Cai Mep – Da Chan Bay – Yantian – Xiamen – Ningbo – Shanghai – Pusan – Vancouver – Pusan – Qingdao – Shanghai – Ningbo – Da Chan Bay – Port Kelang – Ashdod – Haifa – Istanbul – Novorossiysk – Odessa – Istanbul –Haifa – Port Kelang.

 

ZIM will also launch a connection between India and the Eastern Med/Black Sea with the new India Med Express, which has a port rotation of: Mundra – Hazira – Nava Sheva – Colombo – Alexandria – Haifa – Mersin – Instanbul – Mundra.

 

The shipping line has been restructuring its global network to offer better solutions and in response to the reshuffling of shipping alliances.
