Evergreen has added Subic Bay Freeport to its Korea-Taiwan-Philippines service.

The KTP service will call at Subic Bay’s New Container Terminal 1 and New Container Terminal 2, both of which are operated by International Container Terminal Services, Inc.

“We congratulate Evergreen for the launch of the new service,” said Roberto R. Locsin, general manager of Subic Bay International Terminal Corp., a subsidiary of ICTSI. “We also thank Evergreen for recognizing Subic as a key gateway in the Philippines. Our inclusion in the KTP service is a clear indication that the markets of central and northern Luzon are growing, and will benefit from another large global carrier participating in this growth.”

The KTP service has a port rotation of: Incheon – Kwangyang – Kaohsiung – Batangas – Manila – Subic – Kaohsiung.

The first Evergreen vessel operating the service will make its maiden call at Subic on April 19, 2017, according to ICTSI.
