The CMA CGM Group has launched its new corporate identity, consisting of a new logo and the slogan “Shipping The Future.”
“An extraordinary entrepreneurial adventure, CMA CGM is a family business which has become a world leader in just 39 years,” said Tanya Saadé Zeenny, executive officer of the group. “Today it unveils its new ambition through a new slogan, a new visual identity and new graphic identity. This new ambition reflects our values of initiative, boldness and imagination, our ability to innovate and our determination to continue the group’s development.”
According to CMA CGM, the new logo is the eighth since the company was founded in 1978. It was designed by Brandimage and features a bespoke typography and the French national colours.
The rebranding also includes a new image developed by DDB Dubai, showing a CMA CGM container vessel sailing into space. The company said that this symbolizes the group’s initiative, boldness, imagination, integrity, energy and ability to innovate, showing that CMA CGM is aiming towards the future and can go beyond all imaginable borders.
A 528-square-metre adhesive visual with the new branding has been affixed onto the CMA CGM Tower at Marseilles’ waterfront, according to CMA CGM.
