WFS TO HANDLE SINGAPORE AIRLINES CARGO AT STOCKHOLM

Worldwide Flight Services has won a three-year contract to handle cargo for Singapore Airlines’ at Stockholm Arlanda Airport.

The airline launched a five-times-weekly flight to the Swedish capital via Moscow on May 30, 2017 with an Airbus A350-900.

 

“Singapore Airlines’ decision to work with WFS at yet another station in Europe is another big boost for our cargo business in the region,” said Marc Claesen, regional vice president of WFS. “It also once again reflects our ability to meet the highest service standards set by the world’s leading airlines.”

 

WFS expects to handle 3,000-4,000 tonnes of cargo a year for the carrier.

 

WFS also won a contract in June 2017 to handle cargo for Qatar Airways in Stockholm.
