APL has launched its China Australia 6 and China Southeast Asia 8 services.
According to the shipping line, the CA6 service is a weekly connection between major central and southern Chinese ports and the largest eastern Australian cities.
The service will have a port rotation of: Ningbo – Shanghai – Yantian – Sydney – Melbourne – Brisbane. The first sailing will depart from Ningbo on August 17, 2018.
Transit time to Sydney will be 11 days from Yantian and 14 days from Shanghai.
CA6 complements APL’s China Australia, China Australia 2 and China Australia 3 services providing weekly coverage between China and Australia.
The new CS8 service is a weekly connection linking central and southern China with Indonesia.
It will have a port rotation of: Shanghai – Ningbo – Shekou – Jakarta – Surabaya – Kaohsiung – Shanghai. The first sailing will depart from Shanghai on June 30, 2018.
The CS8 service offers a transit time of eight days from Shanghai to Jakarta and 11 days from Shanghai to Surabaya. Transit time from Shekou will be five days to Jakarta and eight days to Surabaya.
CS8 will be the APL’s service string from Shanghai and Ningbo to Jakarta and Surabaya.
