TURKISH CARGO JOINS ANIMAL TRANSPORTATION ASSOCIATION

Turkish Cargo has become a member of the Animal Transportation Association, the international non-profit organization dedicated to the safe and humane transportation of animals.

           

The ATA was established in 1976 and consists of members including airlines, freight forwarders, truckers, shipping companies, universities, government agencies, animal breeders and veterinarians.

The association offers members requests for transport services, the ability to share best practices and the opportunity to contact institutions, ministries and organizations that are involved in the transportation of animals.

 

In 2017, Turkish Airlines adopted the United for Wildlife Buckingham Palace Declaration, an agreement committing to take real steps to shut down the routes exploited by wildlife traffickers.

 

Turkish Cargo, which is also complaint with the International Air Transport Association’s Live Animal Regulations, has a  network spanning 124 countries around the world.
