TURKISH CARGO GROWS 21.7% IN 2018

Turkish Cargo achieved a growth rate of 21.7% in sold cargo in 2018, according to data from the WorldACD.

 

The carrier transported approximately 1.4 million tonnes of cargo during the year and continued to be ranked eighth across the global air cargo market.

 

The performance was significantly higher than the industry average growth rate of 2.2%.

 

During the year, Turkish Cargo launched freighter routes to Bogota, Brussels, Curaçao, Ho Chi Minh City, Houston, Liege, Mexico City, Miami, Muscat, Navoi, Taipei, Toronto, Vilnius and Zaragoza.

 

The carrier’s freighter network now covers 85 destinations, while its overall network including belly capacity on Turkish Airlines passenger flights covers more than 300 destinations in 124 countries.
