GOODMAN LETS OUT CHENGDU INDUSTRIAL PARK

Goodman Group has signed three lease agreements with e-commerce company JD.com, logistics service provider HOAU and Walmart at the Xindu North Industrial Park in Chengdu, Sichuan province.

The park is located in Xindu Logistics Park, near the Cheng Mian Expressway, which is one of the city’s major motorways linking it with Mianyang to the north.

 

“These new leases are a testament to our ability to meet the different needs of our customers from a diverse range of industries,” said Philip Pearce, managing director of Greater China at Goodman. “We are pleased to continue our partnership with JD.com as they expand their footprint in China and we are equally delighted to welcome new customers HOAU and Walmart to our portfolio. We remain focused on our development plans in this market, leveraging our industry reputation for delivering high-quality and strong built-to-suit capabilities to support our customers across China.”

 

Consisting of four buildings that occupy a total area of 71,700m2, the US$50 million project will be built over three phases and is expected to be completed by the end of 2016.

 

Goodman has approximately 800,000m2 of industrial projects in development in major cities across China such as Shanghai, Nanjing, Shenyang, Tianjin, Chongqing, Chendu and Qingdao, according to a statement.
