Hapag-Lloyd has improved its Asia-Africa network by adding a westbound Durban call to its West Africa Express (WSX) service.

According to Hapag-Lloyd, the enhanced service will provide an additional weekly direct link between Asia and South Africa, as well as between South and West Africa.

The new port rotation is: Shanghai – Ningbo – Nansha – Singapore – Port Kelang – Colombo – Durban – Apapa – Tincan – Tema – Cotonou.

The first sailing will be made by the 2,664 TEU Busan Trader, which departed Shanghai on September 22, 2015.
