BOLLORÉ JOINS AIR BRIDGE BETWEEN CHINA AND NIGERIA FOR ESSENTIAL HEALTH PRODUCTS

Bollore Logistics is participating in the establishment of an air bridge between China and Nigeria to ensure the logistics operations of essential pharmaceutical products and limit the spread of the coronavirus.

 

From April 10-12, Bolloré Logistics Nigeria airfreight teams were mobilized to ensure swift clearance of essential cargos arriving from Beijing (China) at the Lagos airport containing 5 tons of sanitized hand gloves and 50 ventilators.

 

The total volume reached 30 m3, intended for public establishments (hospitals, clinics) as well as healthcare professionals in Abuja Nigeria.

 

"This operation, conducted on behalf of a humanitarian program, was successfully carried out and at the earliest possible time to ensure on forwarding could take place to Abuja the cargo's destination," Bolloré Logistics said in a statement.

 

To manage this mission, the Bolloré teams in Lagos and Abuja worked in synergy with public authorities to ensure the swift release of cargos for prompt transfer to the destination in Abuja.
