LUFTHANSA CARGO TO FLY PERMANENTLY TO VIETNAM

Lufthansa will be permanently adding Ho Chi Minh City to its network for the winter schedule, after carrying out a test phase over the summer.

 

Self Photos / Files - LH77FThe weekly flight, which will be operated by one of the carrier’s five Boeing 777 Freighters, will depart from Frankfurt every Thursday and head to Hong Kong via Mumbai and Ho Chi Minh City.

 

“We are proud to have built up excellent relationships with our clients in Vietnam, which we will now be further cultivating with the fixed freighter connection,” said Frank Naeve, vice president of Asia-Pacific at Lufthansa Cargo. “Using our flexible network management we will be able to effectively meet demand. We are constantly working on making our network in the Asia-Pacific region even more attractive for our customers.”

 

Lufthansa Cargo already flies its MD-11 Freighters and 777Fs to major destinations in the Asia-Pacific region, including Bangkok, Beijing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore and Tokyo.
