OOCL RECEIVES FINAL 8,888 TEU CLASS VESSEL

OOCL has taken delivery of the 8,888 TEU OOCL Ho Chi Minh City on Changxing Island in Shanghai.

The OOCL Ho Chi Minh City is the last of the eight 8,888 TEU class ships ordered from Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuiliding, according to OOCL.

 

The ship will be deployed on the 42-day South China 2 service with the following port rotation: Da Chan Bay – Hong Kong – Yantian – Kaohsung – Long Beach – Kaohsiung – Xiamen – Hong Kong – Da Chan Bay.
